Lifelong Learning. Real Life. Intentional Growth.

A reflective space for educators, parents, and lifelong learners navigating growth, identity, and balance.

About Me

Hi, I’m Jade! I’ve spent over a decade in education, learning that teaching is about far more than lesson plans and standards. It’s about people. It’s about growth, reflection, and the constant process of becoming. Somewhere along the way, I realized that learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends. It follows us into our homes, our relationships, and the quiet moments where we reassess who we are and who we’re becoming.

I’m a lifelong learner by nature. I believe education shows up in many forms, in classrooms and conversations, in lived experiences and intentional pauses. The most meaningful learning often happens when we slow down enough to notice it.

I’m also a mother to two daughters, a role that has deepened my understanding of balance, patience, and perspective. Motherhood has reshaped the way I see learning, rest, and growth. It has taught me that showing up fully doesn’t mean doing everything at once, and that modeling curiosity, resilience, and self-awareness matters just as much as anything we teach with words.

Educate. Sleep. Repeat. was created as a space to reflect on all of that. This is where education meets real life. Where professional growth and personal growth coexist. Where ambition is paired with rest, and reflection is valued just as much as action.

Here, you’ll find thoughts on education, identity, leadership, and balance, along with honest reflections on learning through life’s seasons. This isn’t a place for perfection or hustle culture. It’s a place for intention, growth, and grounded living.

If you’re an educator, a parent, or simply someone committed to lifelong learning, you’re in the right place. I’m glad you’re here.

“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.”
— William Butler Yeats
